The Philippine government estimates that at least 500,000 people were affected by the Taal volcanic eruption – of which over 31,000 are children from high-risk areas. Until it is safe to return, all affected communities may be displaced for weeks or months.

- (3 months) Emergency response to address nutrition needs during disasters
- (9 months) Recovery and rehabilitation with focus on psychosocial well being of communities and strengthen disaster preparedness capacities
- (24 months) Livelihood recovery and diversification to increase livelihood resilience
