Humberto is a passionate development professional with over 14 years of experience across the public and private sectors, NGOs, international organizations, research centers, and universities. Before joining IIRR, he worked extensively in Latin America, Southern Africa, and Central Asia, in the areas of Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Economics, Public Policy, Social Protection, Food Security, Health, Migration, Gender, Livelihoods, and Emergency response.

He is an economist, graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, and holds a Master’s degree in Applied Labor Economics for Development from the University of Turin and the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po).
