Wilson has done extensive social development in the Philippines and other parts of Asia, such as community organizing, coalition-building, and capacity development. He has been working in the Myanmar program since 2014, incubating programs and setting up IIRR’s country presence.
Wilson holds a Master’s degree in Environment and Natural Resources Management, with a special focus on upland ecosystems, from the University of the Philippines – Open University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the Ateneo de Davao University.
His work philosophy has always been to work towards excellence, to innovate, and to find optimism amidst the difficulty because the marginalized deserve nothing less.
