Eric Mwaura joined IIRR in 2010 as the manager for the project ‘Regional Value Chains and Market Capacity Development” funded by the Ford Foundation. He was subsequently promoted to provide leadership to the Food Security and Resilient Livelihoods portfolio in Eastern Africa.
He held that position until June 2020 when he got appointed as the Country Director (IIRR Kenya). Eric is inspired by empowering rural communities to graduate from poverty.
