The Board of Directors and Friends of IIRR

are happy to invite you to a novel, fun, and practical way to support IIRR!

We’ll make sure that you get the three teas and yummy snacks in a beautiful box. We’ll be tasting two teas, and the third one is for you to enjoy later. We recommend that you have two Teapots or a Gaiwan (cup and lid made for tea brewing) and your favorite cup/cups. (Or use two glass measuring cups and small plates which can function as lids!) And if you’re inclined, come visit meileaf.com to see some of the beautiful tea ware (plus Gaiwans) that Don Mei recommends. (Order now and it can be delivered before the event!)

Please get your order in by December 5th.
We need to allow for bulk shipment from the Philippines to the US or to the UK, which will ship directly to you, depending on where you live. Our goal is to mail your tea-tasting package 3 weeks before the event. We will remind you and send you the Zoom link as well.

International Institute of Rural Reconstruction, a Platinum Rated NGO, has worked for over 60 years in Africa and SE Asia. We empower rural people through our Education, Nutrition and Disaster Preparedness programs and focus on Regenerative Farming (Food Systems), Gender Equality, and the Environment.  We have worked in 47 countries and impacted the lives of millions of people since our inception, through our anti-poverty programs that have been replicated worldwide. As an Institute we currently have over 150 staff embedded in rural learning communities in the Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar, Kenya, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Uganda, and Zimbabwe. Check out the other pages of our website for an in-depth and vivid look at all we do!

We hope you have a wonderful time while supporting IIRR. We wanted to bring together and thank our wonderful supporters with a little joy! You may find a new pleasure in life — one that has the huge advantage of calming, focusing, and reminding us to be grateful to the farmers and rural communities we share this planet with!

IIRR CREDO

Go to the people
Live among them
Learn from them
Plan with them
Work with them
Start with what they know
Build on what they have
Teach by showing
Learn by doing
Not a showcase but a pattern
Not odds and ends but a system
Not piecemeal but an integrated approach
Not to conform but to transform
Not relief but release
