With the threat of climate change, IIRR’s program increases the adaptive capacities of small farmers, with the most vulnerable – women and youth farmers – being targetted. This involves applying approaches that build farm resilience and embody climate smart agricultural methods that address food security in a sustainable, environmentally friendly manner. The main objective of the project looks at developing an evidence-base for sustainable outscaling of climate resilient agricultural practices to enhance livelihood, resilience, and adaptive capacities.
