The International Institute of Rural Reconstruction (IIRR) in partnership with the The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) and partners from the municipal government units responded to the typhoons in the Philippines by designing interventions that deliberately linked disaster recovery to resilience building. These post-disaster actions were implemented in the Municipality of Ivisan in Capiz affected by Typhoon Haiyan and the Municipality of Guinayangan of Quezon affected by Typhoon Rammasun.
